“They will know you are my disciples if you love one another.” (John 13:35)
This is a fairly simple command, spoken in an Eastern culture when Jesus lived on the earth. In Jesus’ culture, knowing was consistent with action. People would know that you knew something by the way you lived your life. Action comes out of knowing. If we know Jesus we will obey him and continue the mission He received from His Father.
As his talmidim (disciples) we work to complete the task He entrusted to us in the power of the Holy Spirit he gave to us, so that all people may know Him.

LOCAL
Feed my Neighbor – The goal is to bring food and friendship over a period of 16 weeks to struggling families that have been selected through the school systems. We are always collecting food at our 7200 Angling Road location to disburse to these families.
Community Garden – We had a great first season. We provided over 700 cucumbers, 30, five gallon buckets of beans and lots of other vegetables to families and the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission. The soil will rest for the winter and we will be back in the dirt next spring. We hope you join us.
CFC – Christ Followers for Change –
It is a joy to work together with this collection of churches in the Greater Kalamazoo area. We can do more together than we could separately. The goal is to make an impact toward alleviating systemic poverty locally and on the continent of Africa. We are working at the root causes of this epidemic as we unify against: racism, war, AIDS or a multiplex of other factors, while at the same time bring immediate relief to those directly experiencing the challenges of poverty.
"7200 Campus” and “Outback Sports Complex” -
The building and campus on which we reside is owned by the bridge. We are also renters. We see the building as a tool that is to be used and accessible to the community at large; a location where multiple ministries, organizations and businesses reside to bring goodness and creativity back to our neighborhood and world.
We currently have two schools that meet at the bridge and we’re open for others to use this facility and grounds for non-church related events. Having created the “Outback Sports Complex” by putting in a regulation sized soccer/lacrosse field and softball diamond, we eagerly anticipate other ways the community will enjoy this campus.
INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS
Good News Ministries (Pastor Solomon Mwesige) - Our partner near Kampala, Uganda is Pastor Solomon Mwesige. We are involved with projects such as a recently built school, clean water, and a chicken farm. The goal is to create long-term, sustainable means of income and provision – both physically and spiritually - for these desperate communities in Africa.
Providence Church in Monrovia, Liberia (Pastor Sam Reeves) - Our partner in Monrovia, Liberia is Pastor Sam Reeves. Pastor Sam returned to Liberia after fleeing from the civil war that ripped apart this nation for many years. This building where this church meets is literally the place where the nation signed its declaration of independence in 1847. The civil wars from 1989-1996 and 1999-2003 have left this country without infrastructure and with a staggering unemployment rate of over 85%. We are partnering with the ministries led by Pastor Sam and others in Liberia to create economic and social stability through micro-finance on a spiritual foundation.
